Tokyo Skytree with Mom(母と東京スカイツリー)

Uncategorized

Today is Mother’s Day.

I took my mother to a Sunday-only restaurant run by a woman I deeply respect, and we enjoyed delicious, carefully prepared dishes that were gentle on the body.

The restaurant is near Tokyo Skytree.

Tokyo Skytree opened in 2012 to help improve broadcasting and communication signals, and at 634 meters tall, it is the tallest freestanding broadcasting tower in the world. At night, its illumination lights up the sky with a beauty inspired by Japanese aesthetics. Its highest observation area, located between 445 and 450 meters, is especially popular because its sloping corridor gives visitors the feeling of taking a walk in the sky.

My mother is afraid of heights, so today we simply looked up at the Skytree from below and admired its great size. In a country like Japan, where people live with earthquakes, I have nothing but deep respect for the engineers and construction workers who made such a tall structure possible.

There is also a shopping complex attached to it, so it seems like a place where you could easily spend a whole day. If you come to Tokyo, I hope you will stop by.

Thank you very much for reading today.
Wishing you all the best.
